Pointing east Anglia (is no longer one of ours)
www.pointingea.com This is the second site I have built for Pointing East Anglia. No mean feat considering it is over 300 pages; they store their archives online.
The brief this time was for something colourful and fun but still with a professional look. I used Squarespace an American hosting and online web building site as this company has an integrated forum, a must for Pointing East Anglia. Pointing also edit and update their site themselves so it needed an online build. Squarespace was more complicated than their last online hosting company, Weebly, but the forum was more suited to their needs.

Pointing's size always causes a problem, how to let the viewer use the links without being bored rigid by the banality of lists of titles.
My solution was to produce a title photograph overlaid with the year or subject; this then leads to a list of races. I hope you like it. 
I made them in grey scale to differentiate between everyday photographs.

Major title pages I left in colour using Pointing's heading photograph. This has been over laid with the section title.
